Violet Pufall, 96 of Galien, Michigan died Sunday morning, December 28, 2014 at CrownPointe in Stevensville surrounded by family. Violet was born August 6, 1918 in Galien to Earl and Dora (Miller) Roberts. She graduated from New Troy High School and continued her education at Secretarial College in Benton Harbor. She was employed as an executive secretary at Clark Equipment Company in Buchanan.
Violet played the accordion with other musicians and also for the enjoyment of her family. She married Arthur C. Pufall and they made their home on Spring Creek Road in Galien. They always had something fun in store when their nieces and nephews visited them in Galien or at their place on Swan Lake. Violet was the longest active member of the Roy Chilson American Legion Post # 344 in Galien and a member of the Galien Historical Society. Survivors include her many nieces and nephews. Many neighbors, friends, and caregivers also thought of her as their Aunt Violet.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Art; siblings Odean Roberts, Geraldine Goodenough, and Myrtle Christie and Charles Roberts.
