Matuszak, Violet M.
Went to be with our Lord on June 22, 2015 in Scottsdale. Born Violet Marques in New York City, she graduated from Textile High School in Manhattan where she discovered a lifelong love of couture garment construction. She pursued further education in this field at Parsons School of Design and at Phoenix College. She was employed at the fashion house of noted designer Norman Norell in the 1950’s.
Violet met her beloved husband Stephen A. Matuszak at West Point where they were married in 1955. An exciting time of travel with the military followed.
