Violet I. Mather, 92, of Bristol, widow of Atty. James T. Mather, II, passed away unexpectedly at home. She was born June 9, 1917 in Plymouth, daughter of the late Adam and Stella (Murawski) Kaczypenski. A lifelong resident of Bristol, Violet was a legal secretary for her husband, James, for many years. She was also a member of the Bristol Senior Center. She is survived by her two sons, Atty. Robert Michalik and his wife, Sandra of Plainville and James Mather, III and his wife, Debra of Prospect; her daughter, Elizabeth Mather of Farmington; her five grandchildren, Jessica Henderson and her husband, Justin of Milan, NH, Monica Mather of Prospect, James Mather, IV of Prospect, Robert Michalik, Jr. and his wife, Kathleen of Plainville, and Todd Michalik of Quincy, MA; several nieces and nephews.
