Muncie-Viola” Louise “(Curtis) Brewer, 79, passed away Saturday afternoon, July 16, 2011, at her residence following a sudden illness. She was born on January 27, 1932 in Muncie and was placed in the Muncie Children’s home at an early age.
Louise is a 1950 graduate of Muncie Central High School. She married the love of her life Donald E. Brewer on May 17, 1953 and he preceded her in death April 13, 2000. Mrs.
Surviving are one daughter, Judy Brewer, Indianapolis; one son, David Brewer (wife-Kathy), Indianapolis; one “Like daughter”, Kim Burns (husband-Terry), Muncie two granddaughters that she reared, Stephanie Brewer (fiancé-Joe Hoover), Muncie and Jennifer (Brewer) Nissley (husband-Dylan), Indianapolis; one brother, Charles Minnick (wife-Sue), St. Petersburg, Florida; several nieces and nephews; her beloved beagle-Shiloh.
Besides her husband of 47 years, Donald, she is preceded in death by one sister.
