Viola I. Scott Wihebrink Morton, 82, Warsaw, died September 25, 2008, at Mason Health Care, Warsaw, Indiana after an extended illness.
She was born November 22, 1925, in Howard County, Indiana, and resided in Warsaw, Indiana. Viola retired from DaLite Screen, Warsaw, in 1984 where she was an Administrative Assistant. She lived in Anderson most of her life. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Anderson and Sacred Heart Church in Warsaw. She also belonged to the Indiana Firefighters Association, Moose Lodge, American Legion, and the V.F.W.
She is survived by her children; Patricia’s husband, William Busch of Fairmount, Robert Wihebrink of Colorado, Barbara’s husband, Jeff Turpin of California, Donald G.’s wife, Susan Wihebrink of Warsaw, Virginia husband, Richard Gard of Ft. Wayne, and Walter wife, Dana Wihebrink of Michigan. Sister; Jerry Groves. 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her first husband; Walter C. Wihebrink who died April 22, 1988, and her second husband; Joseph Morton, who died September 14, 1994. Parents; Grace Dwyer & Glenn Scott. Four sisters and two brothers.
