Viola B Williams, 91 passed away peacefully February 12, 2022, surrounded by family at Prestige Care, Lewiston, ID. Viola was born January 19, 1931 to Harry & Lavinna Chapman in Pettibone, North Dakota.
Viola married Kenneth Williams on May 16, 1951 in Steele, North Dakota. They were blessed with four children, Barbara in 1952, Susan in 1954, Carol in 1957 and Jeff in 1961. They moved to Cottonwood, Idaho in 1957, later relocating to Moscow, Idaho and then became snowbirds go to Quartzsite, Arizona in the winter and to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and Libby, Montana in the summer.
Viola loved to bake, make wedding cakes, craft, play cards and socializing.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Lavinna Chapman, her husband Kenneth, her brothers Lyle, Orville, Milo, Cecil and Orrin Chapman, her sisters Margaret Kelley, Vera Plieness and Laura May Plieness. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Young, Susan Schaff(David), Carol Altman(Dan) and son Jeff Williams(Christy), 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandkids, and 9 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister-in-law Bernice Chapman, brothers-in-law Roy Plieness, and Lamar Grant and numerous nieces and nephews.
