Vincent Navarro, beloved husband of Adriana Navarro passed away on March 30th, 2019.
He is survived by his sons and their wives David and Paula Navarro, James and Wanda Navarro, and his daughter and her husband Gail and Tim Collins.
His grandchildren include Haley, Justin, Jeffrey, Peter & Stefanie Navarro, Michael, Stephen, and Emily Collins.
He is also survived by his sisters, Virginia Belletti and Camille as well as his sister-in-law, Mary Rossi, all currently living in the Boston Area.
Vinnie will be missed by everyone that he touched in his life.
He was born in the west end of Boston on 9-11-1928. His parents were the late Paul Navarro and Mary Lamberti Navarro of Boston, Massachusetts.
He spent all of his working life in the shoe industry, but his love of music was his real passion. As a young man, he attended the Berkley School of Music in Boston learning and furthering his musical talents on the saxophone, flute, and clarinet. He played professionally in his early years to the big band music of the times. In his retirement, he became a music teacher, passing on his knowledge of music to the next generation of musicians.
Also in his retirement, he enjoyed living life to the fullest by attending every event in the condo complex he lived in, teaching Italian to many of his neighbors, and playing bridge and poker multiple times a week. He enjoyed splitting his time between Florida in the winter and Massachusetts in the summer to enjoy the best of both areas.
