Vincent J. Giandomenico, 85, of Allentown, died Sunday, December 21, 2008, in St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown. He was the husband of the late Fanny M. (Tarola) Giandomenico, who died Jan. 27, 2008. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Carmen and Antoinette Giandomenico. Vince worked as a reed maker for Penn Reed & Harness Co. in Allentown for many years until retiring. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Survivors: he will be lovingly remembered by daughters Philomena Oplinger and her husband Brian of Allentown, Beverly Druckenmiller and her husband Thomas and Anita Hilbert and her companion Scott Keiser all of Northampton; sisters Mary Kufrovich and her husband Robert of Center Valley, Pauline Buck and her husband Stephen, Viola Nothstein of Allentown, Concetta Vitchkoski and Amelia Giandomenico both of Hellertown; brother Ralph Giandomenico; grandchildren Chad, Chelsea, Carisa, Danielle and Nicole. He was predeceased by siblings, Edith, John, Mike and Dominic.
