Vincent F. Parisi was 79 when he passed away Saturday, March 5th after battling health issues for the past several years. Born in Hackensack, Vincent was raised in Teaneck later residing in Cliffside Park and Mahwah before settling in Northport, New York in 2003. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1956-1960. Vincent was an engineer for Johnson & Johnson for many years before his retirement. He loved the outdoors and would later become a member of the Eaton’s Neck Light Sailing Club and the Skidaddlers Ski Club.
Vincent was survived by his beloved wife Margaret Johnstone, MD. He was the loving father of Paul J. Parisi and his wife Collette and Vincent A. Parisi, also sons of Katherine Parisi, PhD; and step-father of Nick Troiano and his wife Kristin Jones, Mark Troiano, DO and his wife Caitlin Halbert, DO and Jessica Troiano and her husband Leonard Smith. Vincent was the devoted brother of Laurence Parisi and Ann and Bernard Pereira, his sister and brother in-law and uncle of Anthony and his wife Rachelle and their daughters, Sofia and Liesl. He was predeceased by his brothers Sal Parisi and Joseph Parisi. He was the cherished grandfather of Thomas, Sarah, Jackson, Lyle, Niko, and Emilia; and grand-dogs Sully, Barley, Lady and Maggie.
