Vincent C. Zoppina of Burlington, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, March 15th, with his loving family at his side, he was 75 years of age. Born on August 13, 1937 in Mt. Holly, Vince lived most of his life in Burlington. A United States Air Force veteran, Vince was stationed in England where he met his wife of 55 years, Margaret. He was honorably discharged from military duty in August of 1961.

Vince retired from U.S. Pipe and Foundry where he worked as a millwright for 39 years. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, bottle collecting, bowling, dancing and most of all, spending time with his family. When weekends came, the kids were packed in the car and it was off to 8th street in Barnegat Light, LBI. “Pop” had a great sense of humor and would often answer the phone; “Rockefeller’s”, he was the self proclaimed “Mayor of Thompson Street”. Vince was willing to help whoever needed it, putting their needs ahead of his own and in doing so touched many lives. He will live in the hearts of his family and friends for ever.

Son of the late Joseph and Angelina Zoppina, and brother of the late Anthony and his wife, Janet Zoppina, he is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Margaret (nee Farmer) Zoppina, his children and their spouses: Angie (David) Jennings of Edgewater Park, Margaret Urbshot of Burlington and her companion, Orlando Beckles, Vincent J. (Michelle) Zoppina of Burlington, and Yvonne (Dean) DiPalo of Burlington. Vince is also survived by his brother Joseph Zoppina, a sister in law: Joan Williams of Wales, U.K. and a special cousin, Joann Bowen.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren: Dana (Jason, Sr.) Baldorossi, Robert Jennings, Noella D’Agostino, Ryan Urbshot, Stephanie Zoppina, Arielle Zoppina, Nicholas DiPalo, Sydney DiPalo, and three great-grandchildren: Jason Baldorossi, Jr., Alyssa Baldorossi, Angelina Baldorossi as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
