Vincent A. Timoni, 92, of the Normandy Beach section of Toms River Twp., NJ passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ to the late Anthony and Betty Timoni, he was educated in the Elizabeth School System.  He attended Rutgers University and graduated from the New York Institute of Photography.

Vincent served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict, serving in active duty from 1951 to 1953 and in the reserves from 1954 to 1959. He graduated from the Photographer’s Mate School in Pensacola, FL and complete studies in certificate programs: Marine Corps Institute, Publicity and Press programs, Better Speech Institute, Public Speaking and Professional School of Business and Real Estate.

Vincent was employed by Chevron Oil Co. (Division of Standard Oil) for 15 years as the New England Region District Sales Manager before entering private business through his main company, Vincent A. Timoni Associates, which included real estate development, sales, investments and appraisals.  He owned and operated The Garden State School of Real Estate, with three branch schools and was New Jersey Broker for General Development Corp, operating five offices.

He was a member, Director and then President of National Land Council, an international organization of Attorneys and business people engaged in community development.  The organization was responsible for establishing a liaison program with federal and state government to develop uniform laws and regulations for the land development and time share industries.

Vincent was a member of the Advisory Council of the Summit Bank. He was involved with the Boy Scouts of America for many years receiving the District Award of Merit. He was a 35 year member of the numismatic association.

Vincent was predeceased by his wife of over 70 years, Jean (nee Petrone) on July 22, 2020 and his brother, Frank Timoni and his daughter in law Barbara Ramondelli Timoni.

He is survived by his two sons Stephen Timoni and his wife Cynthia of Green Brook and Normandy Beach, NJ, Michael Timoni and his wife Tina of Colonia, NJ and Rotonda Beach West, FL, five grandchildren Lauren (Alexander), Andrew (Jamie), Christina, John and Michelle, and two step grandchildren John and Thomas Kiernan.
