Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother Victoria , 89, of Oxnard went home to our Lord on Saturday, September 29, 2012 after a lengthy illness.
Victoria was born on April 23, 1923 in Orange County, CA. She was the fourth of seven children. She moved to Oxnard in 1936. Graduated from Oxnard High School in 1941.
She is survived by sons and daughters, Carl Vasquez (Connie), Ernest Vasquez (Virginia), Rosemary Roman (Lupe) and Frances Chavez (Les). Eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Joe Gandarilla and Henry Velasquez.
She was preceded in death by her two grandsons, Tony Vasquez and Brian Vasquez.
She is forever in our hearts and will be greatly missed. She had a passion for watching televised games of football, basketball and baseball.
