Victoria Lynn “Vickie” Helsel Moncada, 51, of 920 Northway Circle, A2, died at 9:43 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 30, 2007) in Elkhart General Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born March 19, 1955, in South Bend to Bill G. and Beulah I. “Bee” (Stacy) Helsel. On Jan. 30, 1999, in Elkhart, she married Lorenzo Moncada.
She is survived by three daughters, Kelly G. (Rick) Phillips of Niles, Mich., and Alicia L. (Kyle) Roose and Sheryl D. Greenman, both of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren; one sister, Beverly A. (Brian) Palmer of Elkhart; one brother, Billy G. (Linda) Helsel Jr. of Clermont, Fla.; and her parents of Elkhart.
Mrs. Moncada was a homemaker and took great pride in her home and family. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts (especially decorating hats) and was very talented in the kitchen. She was always considered a giving person and always willing to help her family and friends.
