Passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016, aged 92, peacefully at home in Kalamazoo, MI. Victoria was born September 28, 1923 in Alpha, MI, the daughter of Albert Kowalski and Victoria Zebrowski. Victoria was preceded in death by her 5 sisters and one brother.
In 1944, Victoria married Roosevelt Anthony Guidone and was married for 36 years. Roosevelt preceded her in death on December 14, 1980. Victoria is survived by her three children, Gene (Dolores; deceased) Guidone, Sharon (William) Smith and Dianna (Charles) Ronan; five grandchildren, Teresa (Timothy) Nelson, Erica (John) Jacobsen, Anthony (Melissa) Smith, Matthew (Tricia) Ronan and Brian Ronan. Victoria also had 4 great-grandchildren, Ruby, Lucy, and James Nelson and Mason Smith.
Victoria was a homemaker throughout her life and enjoyed cooking, sewing and handing down many of her secrets to her children and grandchildren. Victoria and her family had the opportunity of traveling to many foreign countries as her husband was in the Air Force for 30 years. She enjoyed teaching her grandchildren to play games and a few favorite ones with them were “500 Rummy” and Scrabble.
