Dearing, Victor J. passed away peacefully in his Scottsdale home with his family members by his side, on January 26th, 2015. After a long battle with cancer he was welcomed into heaven. Vic is survived by his dear wife Jeanne, and his five children and their spouses: James(Laura), Thomas(Terri), Timothy(Kathi), Vicki (Brad), Michael(Linda). Vic was born on March 8th 1927, the third of ten children, to Ruth and Harry Dearing in Indianapolis, Indiana. He married the love of his life Jeanne O’Brien in 1952 and moved to Arizona in 1957 where they completed their family, eventually growing to 26 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Vic led a momentous life including serving his country as a Sergeant in the Army, dedicated firefighter, and a supervisor for Bashas’ for 25 years. Vic had a great work ethic, which he passed on to his children. He was a devout Catholic who led his life with integrity and faith in God. From the moment Victor entered the world until the day he passed, he brought his encouraging smile, positivity and unconditional love. Vic had a way of capturing a room with his charm and humor.
