Vicky S. (Walker) Kinney, 65, Martinsville, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at her residence. She was born on Tuesday, June 27, 1944, in Bedford, Indiana. She was the daughter of Kermit and Velma (Barnes) Walker, both of Mitchell, Indiana. She married Jerry L. Kinney on November 12, 1976.
She was a dental hygienist for Dr. Rhett Tharp at Gentle Dental in Bloomington and for the Ellettsville Dental Clinic. She retired in 2006. After graduation from high school, Vicky went to the University of Louisville and then graduated from the Indiana University Dental School as a dental hygienist. She enjoyed her grandchildren and flowers.
She is survived by her husband; her son, Ryan French, and his wife, Amy, of Lafayette, Indiana; daughter, Andrea Mitchell of Martinsville; stepdaughter, Jamie Doty, and her husband, David, of Tullahoma, Tennessee; stepdaughter, Shelley Kinney of Indianapolis; brother, Gary Walker of Williams, Indiana; sister, Diane Dixon of Mitchell, Indiana; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
