Vicki Lynne Sidaway King, 62 of Lakeland, FL died December 2, 2012 due to complications of cancer. Vicki was born August 27, 1950 in Cumberland, MD to Alfred and Jacqueline (Easton) Sidaway and moved to Lakeland in 1972. Vicki was employed with Crystal Corp. and retired as a manager with over 38 years of employment. She was a member of the Royal Order of the Moose, Lodge #1023 Winter Haven, and AM Vets Auxiliary, Post #32 Lakeland. Vicki is preceded in death by her husband, Don King in 2009; her mother, Jackie; a son, Charles W. Leidinger, Jr. and a brother, William “Rocky” Sidaway. Vicki is survived by her son, Brian (Becky) Leidinger of Lakeland; her father, A.L. Sidaway of Lakeland; her sisters, Judy (Leonard) Kirkland of Lakeland and Freda (Ron) Heavener of Keiser, W. VA; her brothers, Larry (Bonnie) Sidaway of S. Dakota and Jerry (Tammy) Sidaway of Ridgley, W. VA; her grand grandchildren, Greg (Jennifer) Leidinger of Lakeland and Lindsey Carr of Cumberland, MD; her two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
