Vicki Lynn Blaha age 59, of San Pierre, IN passed away peacefully with her family at her side on December 15, 2010 at LaPorte Hospital, Laporte, IN. She was born on August 14, 1951 in Valparaiso, IN to Robert and Iona (Leach) Theis.
Vicki was a 1969 graduate of Wheatfield High School and 1971 graduate of Porter Memorial Hospital School of Radiology with an Associates degree. She had worked at Porter Hospital, Valparaiso Clinic, Jasper County Hospital and was the school nurse at Wheatfield Elementary. On December 6, 1975 she married Bruce Blaha, who survives.
Vicki was a member of The Lupus Foundation of America and Breast Cancer Society. She loved watching the birds, gardening and loved her flowers.
Vicki is survived by her loving husband, Bruce Blaha of San Pierre, IN Loving Daughter, Holly (Paul) Kleist, grandchildren Hannah & Ethan all of San Pierre, IN Mother, Iona Theis of Wheatfield, IN; Sister, Kendra (Richard) Jones of Wheatfield, IN Several nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Robert Theis, father in law & mother in law, Bill & Bessie (Conrad) Blaha.
