Veronica Flynn Trenck, age 91, of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Saturday, May 21, 2011. She was the wife of the late C. Peter Trenck. Born in Norwalk on January 3, 1920, Veronica was the daughter of the late Joseph L. Flynn, Theresa Russell Flynn and Frances G. Flynn. She was a graduate of Norwalk High School, Class of 1937 and had been a lifelong Norwalk resident. She was the manager for Polley Perry Stores and was retired as personnel manager from Sears in Norwalk.
Veronica is survived by her loving daughter Frances “Bunnie” Thompson and her husband Edward, her granddaughter Pamela Lynn Thompson, and her sister Helen Palmer and husband Everett, all of Norwalk; and three nieces, Carolyn Donohue-Ulman, Penny Palmer and Gail Palmer Stone.
