Vernon L. Connett
Vernon Lee Connett (Sam) was born October 13, 1932 to Abe and Mary Connett in Des Moines, IA. He married Valeria Bell Evans June 18, 1954 and was married for 60 years.
Vernon was preceded in death by his father and mother, ten siblings, and one grand child. He is survived by his wife, Valeria Connett; his children, Vicki Northway (Allen) of Indianola, IA, Vernon Connett, Jr.
Vernon survived in the Korean War, two year member of the VFW. He retired after thirty-one years at John Deere and was a member of UAW.
