Vergil H. Payne, beloved family member and friend, of Huntsville, passed away on Thursday February 24, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Payne had just celebrated his 94th birthday.
Mr. Payne is survived by his wife, MattieB Payne; his daughter, Shirley; 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
MattieB and Vergil were married for 75 years and were long time members of Mayfair Church of Christ.
