Velma W. Pressnall, 85, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of New Castle, IN, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013. She was born September 17, 1928 in Keno, KY to the late Roscoe and Parlee (New) Wilson.
She retired from Burlington Motor Carriers in 1996. Velma is survived by sons: David L. Pressnall of Bradenton, FL and Michael B. (Kim) Pressnall of Lawndale, NC; grandchildren: Troy (Amy) Pressnall of Indianapolis; Misty (Mike) Staton of McCordsville; Holly (David) Desfosses of LaGrange, ME; Shane Pressnall of Lawndale, NC; great-grandchildren: Tyler Rosier and Aly Desfosses; Jeremy, Dallas and Natalie Sparks, Nicholas and Ava Pressnall; sister: Bernice (Charles) Polston and brother Jerry (Mickey) Wilson.
She was preceded in death by husband Dale Pressnall; sisters: Wyrdus Estes, Betty Hinton, Josephine Tuttle, Fern Williams, Tina Shoppe.
