Vanessa L. Fisher, 22, of Ottawa, died April 10, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
Vanessa was born on February 10, 1993 in Hazel Crest, Illinois. She had been employed at Infinity Contact, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Vanessa is survived by her daughter, Haven Althea Lynne Smith, her parents, Robert and Cheryl Fisher, of Ottawa, her “soulmate,” Dustin Smith, of Ottawa, her paternal grandmother, Beverly Fisher, of Ottawa, her birth father, Bill Foster, her birth mother, Nicole Brown, half-sisters, Roxxanne and Ebony, half -brothers, Billy (Astoria) and Marcus, her nephew Jerome, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and awesome friends.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather and her maternal grandparents.
