Ultriche Carr Elliott, 81, of 1240 Jones Mill Road, Chatham, VA died Monday, September 3, 2012 while a patient in Danville Regional Medical Center. Born October 25, 1930 in Pittsylvania County, he was the son of the late Ultriche “Ult” S. Elliott and the late Rosie Mitchell Elliott. He was married to Rebecca Rigney Elliott who survives of the residence. Carr was employed as a glass cutter for Economy Glass for thirty five years prior to his retirement. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Diane L. Dalton and husband, Tracy of Gretna; his sons, Wesley D. Elliott and wife, Rhonda of Dry Fork and Kenneth W. Elliott and wife, Marjorie of Chatham; his sister, Margaret Ann Rigney of Dry Fork, ten grandchildren and one great-grandson.
