Tysa Suzanne Mueller, 57, of Jacksonville, IL died Sunday, September 29, 2013 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.
She was born June 6, 1956 in Carrollton, IL, the daughter of Conrad L. and Pauline R. Malin Fundel. She married Dale E. Mueller on June 26, 1976 in Jacksonville and he survives.
She is also survived by her mother of Jacksonville; a son, Justin Mueller (wife, Jennifer) of Aurora; a daughter, Janelle Miller (husband, Nick) of Springfield; four grandchildren, Brayden Mueller, Alaina Mueller, Kaydence Miller, and Kelsey Miller; several nieces and nephews; and her faithful dog, Jonesy. She was preceded in death by her father.
Tysa was a 1974 graduate of Jacksonville High School and later graduated from Lincoln Land Community College and Hardin Business College. She was a government account executive at Verizon Wireless for 11 years. She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother and grandma who loved spending time with her family. She was also passionate about the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life and dedicated her time to supporting the efforts of the Laurel Lights Team of Springfield.
