Ty D. Kors, age 54, of Rensselaer passed away unexpectedly at his residence on December 29, 2011. Ty was born in Rensselaer on August 25, 1957, to Raymond Kors and the late Bernice (Critser) Kors.
He was a 30 year resident of Rensselaer, formerly living in Cedar Lake, Indiana. Ty attended Hanover Central High School. He was a 15-year employee at ConAgra Foods in Rensselaer where he was currently a maintenance mechanic.
Ty enjoyed fishing and traveling. On December 7, 1985, in Virgie, Indiana Ty married Crystal Whitaker who survives. Along with his loving wife Crystal, Ty is survived by his father, Raymond Kors of Monticello, IN, one sister, Krystal (Ernie) Woodard of Medaryville, IN, two step-sons, Michael (Denise) Luzadder and James (Stephanie, fiancee’) Luzadder, both of Rensselaer, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and their families of Medaryville, IN.
