Troy E. Hall, Sr., 77, of Bostwick, passed from this life on Saturday, August 14, 2021, following an extended illness. He was born in West Tocoi, FL, and had been a lifelong resident of Putnam County. Troy had served in the Army National Guard and was of the Baptist Faith. He had worked at Angel’s Dinner and later worked for Hudson Pulp & Paper in the bag factory and retired from the Maintenance Department at GP after 44 years of service.

Troy had also served as Fire Chief for the Bostwick Volunteer Fire Department for over 45 years. Additionally, Troy was a commercial fisherman and worked on appliances on the side. He was a “Jack of All Trades” and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Hall, his parents, and several siblings.

He is survived by his son, Troy E. “Sam” Hall, Jr. (Connie), daughter, Wendy Symonds, brother, Jerry Hall (Mary Linda), sisters, Ceretha Lord and Cathy Smith, grandchildren, Cheryl, Shelby (Josh), Wyatt and Alec (Tory), as well as 6 great-grandchildren.
