Troy D. Gagnon, 20, of Newington died on Wednesday, June, 17, 2015. Born in Hartford, beloved son of David and Elizabeth (Jedidian) Gagnon, he lived in Newington most of his life. Troy graduated from Newington High School, 2013 and attended Lincoln Tech in East Windsor. He also worked at Town Fair Tire, Bristol. Survivors also include his brother Kevin Gagnon, three sisters: Casey Gagnon, Emily Gagnon and Jennifer Gagnon, his maternal grandmother Sally Cosker, his paternal grandmother Mary Gagnon all of Newington and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Dale Gagnon, and maternal grandfather Dennis Jedidian. Troy was a vivacious, active young man with strong ties to his Newington community. He had a contagious smile and sense of humor that was admired by all. He was looked up to as a role model by all of his track team members for his speed, leadership, and record breaking abilities. Troy is known for breaking the High School’s record for the 600 M, the 4×100 M, and the 4×200 M. His presence is, and will continue to be missed by all.
