Tracy Lynn Schaefer passed peacefully on August 22, 2012 in the presence of her loved ones. Tracy courageously battled a long term illness.
Tracy Lynn with her humor, quick wit and much love was smiling, laughing, and joking with family members in the hours before she departed. She had wonderful moments with her family and was able to say goodbye.
Tracy was born in Fairborn, Ohio to Cathy Woolley and Mike Schaefer. She went to Bloomington High School South and attended Indiana University. Her greatest Loves were her family, dogs, and friends. Her Beautiful contagious smile and personality was simply captivating. You just wanted to know her and be around her. She will be greatly missed and will remain in the hearts and souls of all that knew her. Her legacy is one of smiles, generosity, love, lessons, faith and courage…. She is preceded in death by her father Mike Schaefer, paternal grandparents James B. Wilson Jr., Robert Schaefer, and her uncles Rick Wilson and Scott Schaefer.
She is survived by her mother Cathy Woolley & step-dad Gene Woolley; her companion Tom Tamewitz; Sisters Stephanie Campbell Smith and Lisa Tamewitz; Grandmother Betty Christie & Grandpa Allan Christie and Grandmother Jean Schaefer; Nieces Chelsey McCullough, Alexis Tamewitz, and Joslyn Herrera; Nephew’s Anthony Lee and Little man(Julio Herrera IV); Several Cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
