Tosha Renée (Bolen) Murphy, beloved daughter of Billy Ray Bolen and Janice Ruth Bolen of Morehead, Kentucky, was born in Marion, Illinois, on January 28, 1978, and passed away in Morehead, Kentucky, on November 20, 2021, at 43 years of age.
She leaves behind a daughter Savanna Mae Bolen as well as siblings Brenda (Paul) Morgan of Calvert City, Kentucky; Clifford Bain of Lakewood, Colorado; Jeremy (Amy) Bolen of Leland, Illinois; Jennifer Lee of DeKalb, Illinois; Dr. Brandi (Kevin) Fields of Louisa, Kentucky; Carin Estep of Morehead, Kentucky, and Travis (Karen) Bolen of Winterville, North Carolina, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Billy Myron Bolen and Neoma “Tina” (Reynolds) Bolen of Carbondale, Illinois, and maternal grandparents William Cecil Adkinson and Sheila (Johnson) Adkinson of DeKalb, Illinois, as well as Uncles Gregory Hartness of DeKalb, Illinois; John Adkinson of Arizona; Terry Bolen of Carbondale, Illinois; and aunts Elaine Adkinson of Willow Springs, Missouri, Marsha Kay (Bolen) Helton and Sharon (Henderson) Bolen of Carbondale, Illinois.
She attended DeKalb High School, DeKalb, Illinois, and completed further studies in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education at Ashland Community College and studied Addiction and Substance Abuse Counseling at Maysville Community and Technical College. She was a former Administrative Assistant and CARF prep specialist, and APSS at Edgewater Recovery Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
