Tori Danielle Wadkins, of Waldron, Arkansas, passed from this life on Saturday, October 15th, 2016 in the community of Little Texas. Tori was born January 5th, 1996 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to her loving parents Rory and Sharon Wadkins of Waldron.
No daughter or sister was ever loved more than Tori was by her parents and younger brother, Brady. She had a rare and precious, best friend-relationship with her mother, Sharon. Sharon would always tell her, “I love you to the moon and back, my Pretty Girl.” It became a special salutation to show their boundless love for one another daily. And when parting, they always shared those sweet words, a hug and a smile. Even though she was her mother’s best friend forever; she was also “daddy’s little girl” -and has been since the first day he held her in his arms and she completely stole his heart forever. Tori truly adored and treasured the relationship she had with Brady. She always had his back and cheered him on all throughout his life. Brady will always love his “Kudati”. She understood the meaning of “family first” and although she was small in size, her love for her family was larger than life and will last until eternity.
Tori was a natural born leader and athlete. She was as beautiful as she was competitive and even though she was petite in stature, everything she did was colossal and 110 percent grit. Her God-given talents in sports has been the joy and traveling adventures of the entire family since she was big enough to swing a bat. She has been on many sports teams as an athlete; but her grandest times were spent recently with the Arklahoma Swag softball family. She was fierce on the softball field and was a “tiny but mighty” force on the volleyball court. Tori had the heart of a lion and the kindness and beauty of an angel. She also dearly loved animals, the outdoors and young children. It was not uncommon to see Tori at a ballgame carrying a young child around on her hip… even if the child was almost as big as her. But out of all these things we know Tori held dear, her greatest joy was being with her family that she “loved to the moon and back” as she said almost daily.
Tori leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving parents, Rory and Sharon Wadkins, and one brother, Brady Wadkins all of the home. She is survived by her maternal grandmother Margaret Harrison and and her paternal grandparents Dwayne and Charlene Wadkins all of Waldron, Arkansas. Tori will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives were impacted by her, including aunts, uncles, cousins, softball family, friends and loved ones close to her heart.
She Is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Bobby Harrison.
Tori’s life celebration will be 2:00 p.m.
