Bernice “Tootie” A. Jensen, 61 of Dakota died Tuesday June 9, 2009 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport.
Born January 20, 1948 she was the daughter of Ransom and Violet (Homan) Jensen. Tootie enjoyed watching I Love Lucy, all music especially Elvis, flowers and animals. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Freeport.
She is survived by one sister Joan (Don) Borman, one brother John Jensen both of Dakota; two nieces Jolene Avitia of Beloit, WI, Tessa Jensen of Rockford; one nephew Derek (Lydia) Jensen of Harrison; great nieces and nephews Alicia, Marco, Elias and Lily; special caregivers Linda Meighan, Colleen Geiseman, Mary Lou Langy and Kazia Nytko.
She was preceded in death by her parents, niece Julie Hoffman.
