Biography
Anthony “Tony” Hincks, 82, of Swan Valley, Idaho, passed away at his home February 7, 2018. He was under the care of his loving family and Encompass Hospice.
He was born October 12, 1935, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Elvin Vale Hincks and Mildred Jacobson Hincks. His early school years were spent in Wyoming and then he went to school in Swan Valley and Ririe. He graduated from Ririe High School.
He grew up in the Swan Valley area and married Jean Ann Prince October 24, 1953, in Swan Valley, Idaho. They had eight children, Rocky, Barry, Cody, Clay, Kelly, Lynni, Cory and Brady. Jean passed away July 14, 2016.
Tony worked for the Idaho State Department of Transportation. He was the head of the Swan Valley Department maintaining the roads from the Wyoming border to Ririe.
