Tommy Ray Smith, 76, of Terre Haute passed away Friday August 16, 2013 in Union Hospital. Tommy was born August 15, 1937 in Terre Haute to Wayne and Mary Skelton Smith. He was an honorably discharged member of the United States Army and was employed by General Housewares for many years. Tommy was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching his grandson play baseball. His most loved past time was sitting on his front porch enjoying the peacefulness of the outdoors. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers; Wayne and Darrell Smith. He is survived by one daughter; Carrie Hensley and her boyfriend Charles Weaver of Farmersburg, three step-sons; David, Anthony, and Dug Glasgow, one sister; Rosemary Kluesner of Terre Haute, and three grandchildren; Jaden Hensley, Alden Fuller, and Evalynn Weaver.
