Tomasa Rocha Balderas, 90, of Brighton, passed away on August 18, 2012 in Thornton. She was born February 22, 1922 in Carrizo Springs, Texas to Emeterio and Anita (Ramirez) Rocha. She lived in the Brighton-Ft. Lupton area for 46 years, where she worked for Salud Clinic for 18 years. She loved to spend time with her family more than anything else.
Tomasa is survived by her children, Juan (Sabas) Balderas, Maria Balderas, Norma (Pete) Velasquez, Martha (Manuel) Velasquez, Ricardo (Rose) Balderas, Rosalinda (Ignacio) Cantu, Carlos (Gloria) Balderas, Diana (Gilberto) Barrera; 67 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Emeterio and Anita Rocha; her husband, Juan Balderas, son, Mario A. Balderas; daughter, Sandra Balderas; daughter-in-law, Juana Balderas granddaughter, Jeanie Balderas and a great great grandson, Roman M. Balderas.
