Tom Jimmy Eanes age 75 of 1054 Mountain Road, Callands, VA died Monday, July 9, 2012 at the residence of his son in Rocky Mount. He was born on October 15, 1936 in Pittsylvania County, the son of the late Tom Willie Eanes and the late Eva Doris Hammock Eanes. Mr. Eanes is survived by his wife Patsy Ann Myers Eanes; three sons, Billy Eanes of Rocky Mount, Allen Eanes and James Eanes both of Danville; one daughter, Mary Ann Propps of Chatham; four sister, Ruby E. Beasley of Mount Jackson, Lou Ella E. Chitwood, Hazel E. Hodges both of Rocky Mount, and Doris M. Thacker of Keeling; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one daughter, Eva Eanes Reynolds: two brothers, Harold Lee Eanes and Michael Andrew Eanes.
