TJ “Red” Robertson, 90, was called home by our Lord Thursday, September 29, 2016. TJ was gifted to us on May 27, 1926, and was preceded in death by his daughter, Lillian Ann Robertson in 1953; mother, Lossie Arlee Robertson; father, Thomas Jack Robertson; father and mother-in-law Harmon and Chloe Watkins, sister, Doretha May “Dee” Cantrell; her husband, Jay; niece, Kelly Jean Robertson; great nieces Caroline Tew and Alexandria Tew, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

TJ is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rita; son, Tim Robertson and wife Maureen; brother, Fred Robertson and wife Pat; sister-in-law, Berna Dean Lee and husband Wayne; granddaughter, Jenipher Abbie Sollars and husband James; grandsons, Kurt Jason Robertson, and Kristoffer Luke Robertson and Cherice; and great-grandson, Leland James Robertson, and many other loved friends and family members.

After returning home from the U.S. Army in 1945, where he served as a rifleman and received a Purple Heart for injuries sustained in battle. TJ spent the rest of his working career on the road as a truck driver. After his retirement from ABF in 1988, he spent time travelling and sightseeing in his motor home, with his wife and granddaughter, working at Alameda Baptist Church as the Building Superintendent, and doing many other projects. He was always working with his hands and helping any and every one who needed it. He was well known for having a wonderful sense of humor and always got a laugh out of those around him.
