Timothy (Timmy) Martin Cecil Macias, 27 of Brighton passed away February 21, 2013. Timmy was born on December 31, 1985, in Denver Colorado.
Timmy played football from the time he could hold a football. He played for the Northglenn youth League and for the Brighton Bulldogs, Timmy loved his Denver Broncos most of all. He attended as many games as he could, and enjoyed watching the games with family. His love for football extended to coaching little league, as well as helping his brother fallow in his footsteps.
Although he was not able to finish high school due to his illness, Timmy went on to become a Respiratory therapist. He was happy to graduate and get started with his adult life.
Timmy was diagnosed with Cancer on December 18, 2002. He battled the disease 4 times in the last ten years of his life.
Throughout the years of his illness he always kept his contagious smile and incredible sense of humor. He was a hero to all who knew him.
He is survived by his father Timothy Macias, Mothers Lisa Macias and Mary Macias, Sisters Jennifer Macias (David), Amanda Gloria (Victor), and Jolene Macias; brothers Dakota Macias, Eric Macias and Joey Gourdin; grandparents Martin and Rachel Macias and GW and Opal White; God children Kaydence Sanchez and Victor Gloria Jr. As well as numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
