WINSTED – Timothy Sterling Spencer, 45, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at his home beside the love of his life, Deanna Maytas and their beloved fur babies, Max and Layla. Born December 21, 1976 in Lancaster, PA; the son of Sterling Spencer of CT and the late Sheryl (Dobias) Candia.
Tim worked at Planet Fitness in Torrington. He was a jack of all trades and was skilled at fixing just about anything. He enjoyed working on his car and working on antiques he fondly referred to as “antweaks.”
He was an avid Patriot’s fan and loved the water whether it be lake or ocean. Tim loved spending time with his family and spoiling his cats.
In addition to his love, Deanna, he is survived by his siblings, Bary Linture and wife Misaki of CA, Keri McLaughlin of West Haven and Wayne Spencer of Milford; step-dad, Tom Candia of GA; two nieces, two nephews and many extended family and friends.
