Timothy Allen “Tim” Ohlau, 52, of LaSalle, passed away Saturday morning September 15, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Tim was born March 9, 1960 in Streator, IL, he was the son of Paul M. and Dorothy (Woods) Ohlau-Bloomquist.
He is survived by step-daughters Liz and Rosie Gentry, grandsons Rowan and Amin Gentry, sisters Janet (Bruce) Moore of Streator and Julia (Jose’ Trani) Bloomquist of Peru.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, step-father Earl Bloomquist, brothers Terry Ray and Paul Wayne Ohlau and life partner Beverly Gentry. Tim attended LaSalle Peru High School, was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, he was a brick layer for many years working in the LaSalle Peru areas.
