Timothy L. “Tim” Veach, 49, Anderson, went to be with his Lord on October 9, 2009 at Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness. He was born August 14, 1960 in Franklin, Indiana, and lived in this area most of his life. Tim was a 1978 graduate of Lapel High School, and retired from the Indiana Gas Company.
A devoted member of Florida Station Church of God, he loved volunteering his time and helping others. He was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, boating and just being with his girls and his granddog, Maisey.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Nancy Gore Veach; daughters, Jennifer Veach of Anderson and Amanda Veach of Indianapolis; mother, Margaret Summers Veach-Tate & husband, Art; sister, Dianna Bloom & husband, Kyle Bloom of Lapel; brother, Mike Veach & wife, Brenda of Lapel; father-in-law, Bernard Gore; brothers & sisters-in-law; Randy Gore & wife, Kathy of Alexandria, Gary Gore & wife, Teresa of Frankton, Larry Gore & Angela, Vonda Saylor & husband, Matthew, and Mike Gore & wife, Wanda, all of Anderson; and several special nieces and nephews.
