Timothy Eugene “Tim” Duncan, 55, passed away Tuesday Sept. 30, 2014 in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Greenwood. Tim was born March 10, 1959 in Franklin to Maurice D. and Janet L. Duncan. He married Sharon E. Woodard Dec. 23,1976 in Greenwood; they were married for 37 years.

Tim was a truck driver and was employed with Southern Scavenger Service for more than 20 years, retiring this year.

He was a 13 year member of ABATE, region 11, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2079 and Son of the American Legion. He was also a 34 year member of Teamster Local Union 716. He loved people and you knew when he walked into the room. Tim loved his family, friends and his dogs. His nickname was “Chewy”.

He is survived by his mother, Janet (Weber) Duncan Pulley of Greenwood, his wife, Sharon Duncan of Greenwood, a daughter, Amber (Chad) Stum of Illinois, three sons, Timothy Duncan Jr., Justin Duncan and Dustin Woodard all of Greenwood, step-sister, Donna Beckner of Tennessee, brother, Steve Duncan of Greenwood and step-brother, Charles (Debbie) Pulley of Trafalgar, seven grandchildren,Taylor Duncan, Kierstyn Franklin, Shelby Duncan, Peyton Woodard, Dylan Woodard, Conner Stum and Elizabeth Duncan and close family friend, Leonard Hanger Jr. of Greencastle.

He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Duncan.
