Timotea Davila was born on August 22, 1934, along with her twin brother, Juan Castillo, in Thornton, Texas, to the parentage of Lazaro Castillo and Lupe Masiaz Castillo. She departed this life on September 12, 2016, after suffering with Dementia.

She was preceded in death by Manuel Davila, her husband of 44 years; her Mother and Father, Lazaro & Lupe Castillo. Her mother, Lupe Castillo passed away when Timotea was only four years old. Other family members who preceded her in death were: Her twin brother, Juan Castillo, who passed away at the age of two years old; Sister, Lucita, who passed at the age of 8 months; Daughter, Marta Davila, who was stillborn; Brothers, Juan Castillo (#2), and Domingo Castillo; Daughter-in-law, Dolores Davila; Sons, Ernest Davila and Armando Davila; Grandson, Stephen James Davila; and Great-Grandson, John Paul Martinez.

Timotea accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized on November 15, 1970. She was a long time member of First Spanish Assembly of God Church (“La Primera”) of Dallas, Texas, where she faithfully served in the Nursery and worked in Vacation Bible School for many years. Timotea was a housewife most of her life, who loved to sew, quilt and crochet. She also devoted many years to taking care of children in her home.

Sons: Pedro Davila, David Hernandez and Moses Davila, all of Dallas;

Daughters: Lupe Hernandez, of Dallas; Lisa and Son-in-Law Gerardo Yeverino of Carrollton; Joann Davila and Rosa Maria Davila of Dallas;

Grandchildren: Robert Davila, David Davila, Kelly Coleman and husband Orlando Coleman, Christopher Hernandez, Javier Reyna and wife, Jasmine Reyna, Kristina Davila, Samantha Davila, and Marissa Yeverino;

Great-Grandchildren: Daniel, David, Joshua, Michael and Jacob Davila, Raquel Martinez, Jordan Campbell, Angel Reyna, Serenity Pinales, Javier Isaiah Reyna, Lola Davila, and David Reyna;

Sisters: Catherine Reyes of Dallas; Gloria Garcia and Brother -in-law, Arthur Garcia, of Garland, and Tonia Castillo of Bay City;

Brothers: Paul Castillo and Sister-in-Law, Rosa, and Lazaro Castillo, Jr., of Waco;

Daughters-in-law: Helen Davila and Fidelia DeLira;

Son-in-Law: Gabriel DeLira; and

Other Family Members: Brother-in-Law, Paul Davila of Waco, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
