Ottelia (Tillie) Dorothea Unruh, 94, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2009 at Westminster Village, Scottsdale, AZ. following a brief illness Tillie was the last remaining child of Freadrich and Dorothea Reiger Sauter. Born in Goodrich, she was one of fourteen children in her German speaking family. Tillie graduated from Goodrich High School and in 1933 she was united in marriage with Gust Unruh. They farmed near Goodrich until 1942 when Gust went into the grain elevator business. During his career they lived in Goodrich, ND, Sacramento, CA, Bowdon, ND, Portland, OR, Glenburn, ND, Breman, ND, Conde, SD, and Wahpeton, ND. Tillie and Gust celebrated 67 years of married life and spent many retirement years in Kissimmee, FL. Tillie was a strong woman of faith and her kindness and sweetness always brought out the best in everyone around her.
