Thyra Jean Nance, 88, of Liberty, died Friday, April 14, 2023 at her residence.
Thyra was a longtime resident of Randolph County, a retired secretary with Gregson Furniture and a member of Liberty Friends Meeting. Thyra was preceded in death by her boyfriend of thirty-four years, Donald Bonkemeyer, parents, Wade & Angie Farlow Nance, brother, Larry Nance, nephews, Doug Westmoreland, and Donnie Westmoreland.
Survivors: sister, Rachel Nance Westmoreland, of Staley, sister-in-law, Jane Nance, of Liberty, nieces, Joyce Westmoreland Casstevens and husband, Paul, of Liberty, Angie Nance Moore and husband, Keith, of Whitsett, Trish Nance Redding and husband, Joe, of Liberty, nephew, Greg Nance and wife, Troi, of Calabash, NC and numerous great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to her caregivers, Caitlin, Tracy, Connie, Jane, Ramona, Rosemary and Sonya.
