Thomas C. Wolfe, son of Edmond and Elizabeth (Hudson) Wolfe, was born on March 16, 1929 in Algona, Iowa. Tom graduated from St. Cecilia High School. After graduation Tom enlisted into the Army in 1951 and served during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1953. On May 24, 1955, Tom was united in marriage to Geraldine Kollasch in Whittemore, Iowa. The couple raised their two daughters in Algona where they also owned the Algona Vault Service for 44 years. After selling Algona Vault Service, Tom drove truck for KOFAB for 20 years. Tom was a member of St. Cecelia Catholic Church. He enjoyed daily walks, coffee at The Chrome, woodworking, gardening and truck driving.
Left to cherish Tom’s memory is his wife Geraldine of 59 years; two daughters Lori Miller of Algona and Debra Wolfe of Algona and two grand-dogs Shayla and Oliver. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jerry Wolfe.
