Thomas William Grant III of Fairfield passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Nancy Leeds Reimers Grant. Thomas was the son of the late Thomas Jr. and Dorothy Banks Grant, and traced his family history in Fairfield for more than 11 generations.
Upon Graduation from Duke University, Thomas moved to New York City and entered a lifelong career in the banking industry, ultimately retiring as a Senior Vice President with Webster Bank. While in New York as a young man, he met Nancy and the two decided to move to his hometown of Fairfield where they have spent the last 59 years.
In addition to his wife Nancy, he is survived by his three children: Gretchen, Chris, and Tim and their respective spouses Lee, Amanda, and Karen. He is also survived by his 10 beloved grandchildren: Grant, Arden, Heather, Barrett, Bryn, John, Connor, Tyler, Carys, and Jameson.
