Survived by wife of 59 years, Agnes (Taube) Knipe; children, David (Cindy) Knipe, Mischelle Knipe, Tim Knipe, Donna Krause, Jim Knipe, Patty (Scott) Olson, and Dan (Carmela) Knipe; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Alice Knipe; brother, Donald (Karen) Knipe; sister, Mary Lou Knipe. Retired 451st Army Band, Twin Cities Musicians Union member, drummer extraordinaire.
