Thomas “Tom” Lynn Bollig was born in Denver, Colorado on June 11th, 1951 to father, Albert Bollig, and mother, Eileen Staab Bollig. Tom passed away, in his home, at the age of 70, on December 3rd, 2021. Tom was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and spent his life working in construction and accounting. He loved learning and spent time learning about psychology and astronomy, among other things. Tom loved spending time with his granddaughter, Lyla VanOrden, working on woodworking projects, listening to Blues music, reading novels, watching old westerns, and rooting for the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. Tom was preceded in death by his father Albert Bollig and his mother, Eileen Staab Bollig. Tom is survived by his daughters, Pepper Bollig and Brooke Bollig VanOrden (Jerry VanOrden), his granddaughter Lyla VanOrden, his brothers, Rick Bollig and Ken Bollig, his sisters, Becky Bollig Cookson (Kent Cookson) and Kelly Bollig Wharry (Walt Wharry), his nephews Christopher Lang (Jennifer Lang), Jamison “Ian” Wharry (Melissa Wharry), Joseph “Cale” Wharry (Abbey Woods) and his beloved cat, Lucy.
