He was known by his family as a loving husband and father and by those that knew him as a good man who would do whatever he could to help. Thomas was predeceased by his mother Catherine (nee Janson) Diamanti, who died in 2001.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years Susan (nee Wood), his sons Tom, Jr. and Anthony, his father Alfred Diamanti, Sr., his brothers and sisters in law Alfred, Jr. and Cheryl, Peter and John and Linda. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Marlene and Arthur Diamanti, Sr., as well as many nieces, nephews and very close friends.
